The University of Utah Feed U food pantry aims to minimize hunger among our students, their families, and faculty and staff by providing free, accessible, and nutritious food. We strive to empower those in need to obtain food resources so they may focus on being healthy, happy, and successful at the University of Utah without the barrier of fighting hunger.
The University of Utah food pantry provides non-perishable, nourishing food for our students, their families, faculty, and staff. Why? Because there are times when we all have struggles: Loss of a job, paying tuition, medical emergencies. The basic demands of life sometimes make us have to choose between food or bills. We don’t want any member of our Campus Community to have to choose between having some food on the table and keeping up with the emergencies that come up. During the 2023-2024 academic year, the Feed U Pantry distributed 50,642 lbs of food!
The Feed U Pantry also collects donations of food and hygiene items that are unopened, non-expired, and individually packaged and labeled. Donations can be delivered at any time to the red garbage bin located near the Union Services Desk. For larger donations, please contact feedufoodpantry@gmail.com to coordinate pick-up or delivery
